Mark Hinojosa has been laid off from The Detroit News Online. He most recently served as director of interactive media for the website after originally joining in 2008.  Hinojosa previously worked for Chicago Tribune from 1991 to 2008, pioneering the paper’s early print to digital efforts while serving as associate managing editor for multimedia beginning in 1999.
