The Intercept welcomes two new editors to its fearless staff, Farai Chideya and Roger Hodge.
Chideya is a multimedia journalist, has authored several books, and is the Distinguished Writer in Residence at NYU’s Arthur L. Carter Journalism Institute. She joins the team as a columnist and consulting editor, and will assist in developing The Intercept’s podcast programming.
Hodge has been named national editor, and will focus on major investigative projects covering abuse of power and corruption. Hodge most recently served as editor of the Oxford American since September 2012, and before that held a number of positions with Harper’s magazine since 1996.
