Chief business operations officer Eric Harris has departed BuzzFeed after seven years with the outlet. One of the company’s first employees, he was previously its general manager. Prior to joining BuzzFeed, he was vice president of product management at Operative Media and director of operations at The Washington Post Online. Kate Nocera, a reporter who covered Capitol Hill, has also exited the outlet. She originally joined BuzzFeed in 2013. She was previously a features reporter for POLITICO and before that she was a freelance reporter for the New York Daily News. Follow all the feature stories worth buzzing about on Twitter.
