TV Guide Magazine has made a slew of changes to its editorial staff. Editor in chief Doug Brod has left the publication, with sources saying the editor in chief position has been “eliminated.” Brod served as editor in chief for the magazine since June 2014 and joined the staff in October 2012.
Several promotions have followed Brod’s departure: Executive editor Michael Schneider, who oversees the Los Angeles bureau, has been promoted to chief content officer. Schneider joined the publication in 2011. Consequently, Rich Sands and Nerina Rammairone each advance to the executive editor role after serving as deputy editors. Sands joined the publication in 1995 and Rammairone joined in 2000. Rose Fiorentino, most recently the creative director for the magazine, will now serve as chief creative officer. She joined the staff in 2009 as director of photography. Lastly, Gregory E. Miller, previously an entertainment writer for the New York Post, joins as staff writer.
