Chris Martinez will leave CBS station WBBM-TV in Chicago to join CBS Newspath in Los Angeles beginning May 4. Martinez has been a general assignment reporter and fill-in anchor for the station since 2012. He earned an Emmy nomination for his work covering marriage equality in Illinois. Prior to WBBM, Martinez worked at WFTS-TV in Tampa, Florida from 2003 – 2012. CBS Newspath is a 24-hour news service for CBS stations around the world.
