The Associated Press has announced hires in three of its international bureaus. Karin Laub has been named Jordan bureau chief of the Amman bureau. She previously served as chief of correspondents for Palestinian territories. Additionally, Adam Schreck was upped from Dubai bureau chief to Gulf news director. He will remain based in Dubai. Also, Vijay Joshi, who has been assistant editor for the Asia Pacific since 2012, has been named news director overseeing Southeast Asia based in the Bangkok bureau.

Lastly, the Washington bureau has bid farewell to Dina Cappiello who has joined Edelman’s energy team. Follow the AP on Twitter for the latest news from around the world.
