Trevor Noah has been named Jon Stewart’s successor as host of The Daily Show. His start date is undetermined as Stewart hasn’t yet announced his departure day. Noah has been a contributor for The Daily Show since December 2014. He is a South African comedian and made his U.S. television debut in 2012 on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno and has also appeared on The Late Show with David Letterman.
