Cumulus Media Networks has appointed Tom Schurr senior vice president of operations. He most recently served as president of operations for iHeartMedia, where he oversaw various regions and 27 markets. Prior to that, he served in numerous senior management positions within the Clear Channel corporation in Nashville, Dallas and Houston. Before joining Clear Channel, he managed stations in Sacramento, California and Louisville, Kentucky for Jacor and Citicasters. He began his career in 1982 with Taft Broadcasting in Cincinnati.
