Katherine Nelson, most recently head of communications at Esquire Network, has been named senior vice president of communications at sister-networks Syfy and Chiller. Her new role will include oversight of corporate communications, program publicity and talent relations for both networks. Nelson has been with parent company NBC Universal since January 2013.
