Karen Toulon has been named executive editor for Bloomberg News overseeing Global Newsmaker Editorial Boards, which brings business leaders, government officials and other newsmakers to Bloomberg bureaus globally. She most recently served as New York bureau chief since 2007. Prior to her arrival at Bloomberg in 1999, she served as managing editor for Reuters Financial TV since 1995. Before that, she was a supervising producer for CNBC, joining the network in 1989.

Taking over as New York bureau chief for Toulon is Jason Kelly. He most recently served as managing editor for Bloomberg LINK’s conference series since November 2012. Kelly was previously a reporter covering private equity and the tech industry from New York since 2007. Kelly joined Bloomberg in the Atlanta bureau in 2002 as a tech and telecom reporter. He is the author of “The New Tycoons: Inside the Trillion Dollar Industry That Owns Everything.”
