David Rider has returned to the Toronto Star as the city hall bureau chief. He previously served as editor of the Winnipeg Sun, Ottawa Sun, Toronto Sun and CBC. He returned to the Toronto Star after completing the William Southam Journalism Fellowship program at Massey College, and had served as urban affairs bureau chief for the paper.
