Brian Balthazar has announced that he plans to leave The View to return to HGTV as vice president of programming. Balthazar has been with The View as co-executive producer since August 2014, and before that was head of programming at AOL. He served as director of original programming and development at HGTV from 2008 to 2014. HGTV offers ideas for projects, decorating, and design around the home.
