Chuck Klosterman is no longer writing The Ethicist column for The New York Times Magazine, which he first penned in June 2012. He was previously a features columnist for Esquire. He has also served as a senior writer for Spin and was a music, film and culture critic for Ohio’s Akron Beacon Journal. He began his career with The Forum in Fargo, North Dakota. Klosterman is the author of Fargo Rock City and Sex, Drugs, and Cocoa Puffs: A Low Culture Manifesto. His work has also appeared in The Believer, GQ and The Washington Post.
