Cision Blog regrets to inform you about the passing of Andrew Patner. A veteran Chicago journalist and critic, Patner was a critic-at-large and also hosted the weekly program, “Critical Thinking” on WFMT-FM. He was a longtime classical music critic and arts contributor to the Chicago Sun-Times, also writing for such publications as Art & Antiques, The New Yorker and the Christian Science Monitor. In his earlier carerr, Patner spent eight years with WBEZ-FM as a critic, host and producer, with stints at The Wall Street Journal and Chicago Magazine.
