News editor Joe Haberstroh and senior arts and culture editor Andrew LaVallee have both been promoted to deputy editors at The Wall Street Journal‘s Greater New York section. Haberstroh will oversee long-term enterprise, while LaVallee will focus on breaking news. They replace deputy New York bureau chief Michael Amon, who will relocate to the paper’s London bureau to cover OPEC, Oil and Mining in the Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region.
