George P. Rodrigue III has been named the editor of the Plain Dealer in Cleveland, effective Jan. 19. He is currently assistant news director for WFAA-TV in Dallas, Texas where he assists in overseeing the newsroom. He was most recently the managing editor and vice president for Dallas Morning News since July 2004, returning to the publication in 2001 after serving as Washington correspondent, European bureau chief, city editor and City Hall reporter from 1982 to 1998.
