Daniel Gross has been named executive editor of Strategy + Business. He was previously a business columnist for Newsweek and The Daily Beast. Before that, Gross served as an economics editor and columnist for Yahoo! Finance. He also wrote for Yahoo!’s Daily Ticker blog. Gross joined the staff of Yahoo! Finance after having stepped down as a Slate columnist in September 2010.
