Greg Ip, currently U.S. economics editor at The Economist, will rejoin The Wall Street Journal as chief economics commentator in late January. Ip’s first stint at WSJ began in 1996 covering financial markets in New York, before moving to Washington to cover the Federal Reserve. He left for The Economist in 2008, and during his tenure there he authored The Little Book of Economics: How the Economy Works in the Real World.
