Newsweek has announced the following additions to its editorial staff. Matthew Cooper, previously a contributing editor for the publication, is now politics editor. Jonathan Broder has been named senior writer, in addition to new staff writers Azeen Ghorayshi and Max Kutner. Lastly, the magazine has re-hired Newsweek/Daily Beast alums Ross Schneiderman and Wintson Ross to serve as senior editor and national correspondent, respectively.
