Kimberly Gill has joined WDIV-TV as a reporter and fill-in anchor. She was previously an anchor at KDKA-TV in Pittsburgh. She joined the station as noon and 4pm anchor in October 2011. Her last newscast at KDKA-TV was November 7.

Additionally, Jason Colthorp is slated to join WDIV-TV as anchor and reporter upon his exit from WILX-TV on December 29. Colthorp currently delivers the news headlines of the day as anchor for the station. Prior to this, he was the morning news anchor at WILX-TV in Onondaga, Michigan.
