ABC News has launched a new “social media newscast” on Facebook, entitled Facecast: The One Thing. Anchored by ABC World News Tonight’s David Muir, the minute-long segment offers Facebook users updates of top news stories from the day, including video, photographs and infographics. Content is shot “behind-the-scenes” from ABC News’ New York headquarters and will be posted to Facebook each weekday.
