The New York Times recently announced four digital deputies who will help bolster the online arm of the paper’s multiple platforms. Digital deputy Samantha Henig will oversee styles, travel, real estate, and home. Heather Murphy will oversee science sections. Ashwin Seshagiri will oversee all digital BizDay content. Finally, Damien Cave will oversee the website’s National Desk. In addition, the paper has announced it will discontinue its standalone auto section, Automobiles at the end of the year.
