Hearst Magazines has announced Joanna Coles will expand her role to editorial director of Seventeen while remaining editor in chief of Cosmopolitan, which she joined in September 2012. Seventeen’s editor in chief, Ann Shoket, has stepped down after seven years in the role; a replacement has not been named, but is expected in the coming weeks. Also, Donna Kalajian Lagani has joined Seventeen as publishing director and senior vice president. This follows the departure of Jayne Jamison, who previously served as vice president and publisher of Seventeen and Redbook  since May 2013, and is now the senior vice president and publisher for O, The Oprah MagazineSue Katzen has taken over as publisher of Redbook in place of Jamison.
