Shawn Perine, editor in chief of Muscle & Fitness, has been promoted to chief content director for American Media’s Enthusiast Group, which — in addition to M&F– also includes Flex and Muscle & Fitness Hers. Perine has served as editor in chief for M&F since November 2011 and will continue in this role. He previously served as M&F’s online editor and has also been a senior writer for Flex.
