Peter Canellos, formerly of The Boston Globe, has joined POLITICO as executive editor. He will relocate to Washington and begin full-time work in the role next month. Canellos most recently served as editorial page editor at The Globe, and spent several years as Washington bureau chief, overseeing the paper’s election coverage in 2004 and 2008.
