Katie Barreira has been named test kitchen director for Cooking Light. Barreira most recently worked for Every Day with Rachael Ray, serving as food editor since October 2013 and as senior test kitchen associate since joining the publication in February 2007. Barreira has also worked as a freelance recipe developer, tester and food stylist, her work appearing in such publications as The Boston Globe, Edible Cape Cod, The Cambridge Chronicle and Parents.com.
