Janelle Nanos has been named the new editor for The Boston Globe’s tech site, BetaBoston, and she will begin her duties on Oct. 27. Nanos most recently served as senior editor for Boston Magazine, joining the publication in March 2011. She previously worked for National Geographic Traveler, New York Magazine and City Limits.
