Dodai Stewart has joined Fusion as the director of culture coverage. Stewart comes from Jezebel where she served as a deputy editor since July 2009. Prior to joining the blog as an editor shortly after its founding in 2007, Stewart was the executive editor of J-14 magazine. Her departure follows the exit of Jessica Coen and the hire of Emma Carmichael as Jezebel’s editor in chief, widely considered a snub to Stewart by media insiders.
