Dan Hsu has announced his departure from VentureBeat. Most recently the editor in chief for VB’s gaming vertical, GamesBeat, Hsu first joined the site in February 2012. A mainstay in gaming media, Hsu is also the co-founder and served as editor of Bitmob before it was acquired by GamesBeat. He has also worked for G4 Media, 1UP Network, Electronic Gaming Monthly and Gamers.com. No replacement has been announced.
