Closer Weekly recently announced the departure of executive editor Lisa Chambers. She had served in this role since joining Closer in September 2013. As a result, news director Corynne Cirilli has been promoted to executive editor this month. She joined the magazine in January after serving as managing editor at xoJane.com. Closer Weekly is a celebrity-centric publication for the 40+ crowd, and can be followed on Twitter.
