Sarah Fenske, editor in chief of LA Weekly, has announced her impending departure from the alternative newspaper in November. She will be moving to St. Louis to join Midwestern food publication FEAST as director of digital content. Fenske joined LA Weekly in October 2011 after stints at Riverfront Times, Phoenix New Times, Houston Press and Cleveland Scene. Her replacement has not yet been announced.
Joining LA Weekly is music editor Andy Hermann, who has contributed to the weekly since 2012, also freelancing for The Daily Dot, Insomniac Events and Diffuser.fm in addition to working in digital content for Walt Disney Company after five years as national music producer for Metromix. He replaces outgoing music editor Ben Westhoff, who joined LA Weekly in 2011.
