The Indianapolis Star has announced staff changes. Sports reporter Mike Chappell has left the paper and is joining Indianapolis station WRTV-TV. Chappell had worked as a sports reporter for The Indy Star since 1984.
Additionally, digital developer and graphic artist Amy Haneline is now covering beverages including local beer, wine and coffee for the paper. She has been on staff since November 2011.

Lastly, investigative reporter Tim Evans will continue covering courts and legal affairs, but specifically related to consumers, such as trends, class action suits or individual cases. Evans has been on staff since 1997.
