Mitch Jacob will join WJLA-TV in Washington on October 1 as a news director. He previously served as news director at  WSYX-TV and WTTE-TV in Columbus, Ohio since June 2009. Prior to that, Jacob worked at WTOL-TV in Toledo, Ohio.
