Michael Wright, the president and head of programming for TNT, TBS and Turner Classic Movies, has announces his departure from the Turner family. He intends to stay on until a replacement has been named. Wright joined TNT in 2002 and served as senior vice president for original programming and content since 2005 before being named head of programming for the three Turner networks in 2008.
