John Simons has been named business editor for The International Business Times. He comes from the Associated Press where he served as the technology and media editor since joining the news service in June 2011.  No stranger to the business beat, Simons has also previously served as editorial director of personal finance at Black Enterprise Magazine, and as a technology writer for Fortune.
