Southern California’s KPCC-FM has promoted Evelyn Larrubia to regional desk editor. She previously was an education editor for the station. Prior to her time at KPCC-FM, she served as an associate editor at the Los Angeles Daily Journal from  – . Prior to that, she was a reporter for the Los Angeles Times from  –  . 

Sandra Oshiro has replaced Larrubia as education editor. She was most recently an interim editor for The Poynter Institute from October 2013 to May 2014. Oshiro also served as a regional editor at Patch from September 2010 to May 2013. Prior to that, she was managing editor, digital for The Honolulu Advertiser.

Lastly, Chris Knap has been hired as a regional desk editor. He previously worked at The Orange County Register for 27 years as a reporter on numerous beats. He has covered politics since 1983.
