National Review has hired Benny Johnson to serve as its first social media director. He will begin work later this month. Johnson achieved notoriety earlier this summer when he was dismissed from BuzzFeed, where he served as viral politics editor, for serial plagiarism. Prior to that, he held positions at conservative websites Breitbart.com and The Blaze. Founded by William F. Buckley in 1955, National Review is America’s leading conservative source for news and opinion. Follow along on a number of social platforms, including Twitter, YouTube and Google+.
