The Washington Post‘s Will Englund, currently a Moscow correspondent, will oversee coverage of the Americas and East Asia in mid-August. Sylvester Monroe will join the paper’s foreign desk overseeing coverage of South Asia and Europe in late August.
Caitlin Moore has been named digital editor for features at the paper, and will oversee the pop culture editorial staff. She was most recently a homepage producer. Peggy McGlone will join the features team for local arts coverage in September, after 27 years of education and arts reporting for The Star-Ledger. Geoff Edgers will also join the team for national arts coverage in September, having previously covered arts for 12 years at The Boston Globe. Prior to joining the Globe, he was with The News & Observer in Raleigh, North Carolina and the Boston Phoenix.
