Elizabeth Brackett has retired from her full-time role as correspondent for Chicago Tonight on Chicago’s PBS affiliate, WTTW-TV. However, she will continue to serve as special correspondent and contribute ten special reports in 2015. Brackett joined WTTW in 1984 and has earned a Peabody Award and five Emmy Awards during her tenure. Prior to joining the station, she worked with Chicago’s CBS, Tribune Broadcasting and ABC affiliates. Chicago Tonight is a nightly program offering interviews, roundtable discussions and longform news features on vital issues affecting Chicago audiences, including consumer issues, health, business, politics and foreign affairs.
