Bob Mong, longtime editor in chief of top Texas daily The Dallas Morning News has announced his impending departure from the paper in 2015. He was named editor in June 2001, previously serving as president and general manager as well as managing editor. Late August will mark Mong’s 35-year anniversary with the paper.
