Daniel Beekman has moved coast to coast to rejoin The Seattle Times as a reporter covering City Hall. He had served as a courts reporter and rewrite man for the Daily News in New York since December 2012, joining the paper at the Bronx bureau. Prior to this, he worked in reporting for BoroPolitics.com, the Bronx (NY) Times Reporter, the Bronx bureau of the New York Post and  The Walla Walla (WA) Union-Bulletin.
