Chico Harlan will make the move to Washington in August as a staff writer for The Washington Post‘s financial team. He most recently covered East Asia as bureau chief for the paper since June 2010. Prior to joining the foreign desk in March 2010, he was a baseball staff writer covering the Washington Nationals. He joined the paper in 2008. Also at the publication, Rebecca Sinderbrand is joining The Post as political news editor on the National team, where she will also oversee the Post Politics and GovBeat blogs.
