Jorge Castillo returns to The Washington Post as a sports reporter covering the Washington Wizards, after interning for the paper. He joins the staff full-time from The Star-Ledger, where he had served as sports reporter since 2011. Desmond Bieler, who worked for presentation/desk-design, has moved to the paper’s sports team and will write for the D.C. Sports Bog and Early Lead blogs. In August, Drew Harwell will also join The Post, in the role of national business reporter. He was most recently a real estate reporter for the Tampa Bay Times, where he had worked since 2009.
