Cision Blog regrets to inform you that Margot Adler of National Public Radio passed away Monday, succumbing to her battle with cancer. A 35-year veteran of NPR, Adler got her start in 1979 as a general assignment reporter, later serving as New York bureau chief and most recently as an arts and culture correspondent. During her career she covered such news milestones as the early AIDS epidemic, the 9/11 terrorist attacks and Hurricane Sandy, also previously hosting the public policy program “Justice Talking.” The Columbia University and Berkeley alumna was also a noted author of neo-pagan literature.
