New York magazine’s executive editor John Homans is leaving the magazine. He served as executive editor for the publication since 1994 and he departs just one month shy of his 20th anniversary with the magazine. He leaves to join Bloomberg Media’s forthcoming politics vertical. Created to report on and interpret recent events in the New York metropolitan area, New York magazine contains news about the city as well as reporting and criticism about restaurants, arts and entertainment, shopping and services in New York.
