The Huffington Post has named Katie Nelson its new national editor. She replaces Katie Palmer, who was promoted to managing editor last month. Nelson was most recently the deputy managing editor for digital at the New York Daily News since September 2009, following stints at the Associated Press, Cambodia Daily and Arizona Republic.
