Jane Spencer has been named Fusion‘s new editor in chief, digital. Spencer had been serving as an international editor at large for The Daily Beast since the announcement of her sabbatical in 2012. She is a a founding editor for the site which launched in 2008. Additionally, Spencer has worked at The Wall Street Journal as a staff reporter and foreign correspondent. No word on a start date at Fusion, but she will be making the move from New York to Miami for the position.

Fusion is a joint network from ABC and Univision that offers Hispanic-Americans news that is relevant to their culture and lifestyle. Keep an eye on Twitter for the latest news, pop culture and satire from Fusion network.
