Arthur Gregg Sulzberger has been promoted to senior editor, strategy at The New York Times. He is overseeing trends, developments in industry and the task of finding new audiences. Sulzberger previously did stints as an editor and reporter on the metro and national desks and is author of The New York Times’ Innovation Report. Additionally, Maria Russo will join The New York Times in August as children’s books editor. She replaces Sarah Harrison Smith who will exit the paper at the end of July.
