Viral politics editor Benny Johnson has been let go from BuzzFeed amid accusations of plagiarism and a subsequent investigation. Twitter users reported several instances where Johnson appeared to have lifted phrases and full sentences from Wikipedia, Yahoo Answers, Associated Press and National Review, among several others. Johnson first joined BuzzFeed in 2012. He previously worked for The Blaze and Breitbart News. Check out BuzzFeed’s various images on Instagram or Pinterest.
