Mary Alice Williams was named anchor of NJTV News. She replaces Mike Schneider who will stay with the program as senior correspondent. Williams previously served as an anchor and correspondent for NBC News, where she became the first woman to win a national Emmy Award for anchoring an evening newscast. She also served as the anchor for Sunday Today; War in the Gulf; Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow; Newswatch; Inside Politics; and Primenews.
